Canon 580ex Flash on Eos Digital Camera's

(Can be applied to some Powershot and EOS Camera's)

For shooting Fill-in Flash into Bright Sun conditions:-

Camera Setting: P-Mode (Program AE) this will allow High Speed Sync Operation with the flash gun. AWB Setting, 100ASA or above, -1/3 off exposure setting.

Flash Gun setting: -1/3 off flash exposure setting and 45% plus a Sto-Fen Filter and Hi Speed Mode Set also on the Flash unit.

For shooting Fill-in Flash into Shady conditions:-

Camera Setting: P-Mode (Program AE). AWB Setting, 100ASA or above, -1/3 off exposure setting.

Flash Gun setting: -2/3 off flash exposure setting and 45% plus a Sto-Fen Filter.
